Naomi Dekel, a newly divorced woman from Eilat (Israel's southernmost city), is forced to relocate to Metulla, at the country's northern tip, to care for Norma Schlein: a lonely and bitter elderly woman, a former lawyer, and a serial caregiver-dismisser. When Eitan, Naomi's ex-husband, discovers she left their daughters with a friend, he threatens to contact welfare services and revoke her custody. Naomi must rush back across the entire length of the country to Eilat - reluctantly dragging Norma along on this 500-kilometer journey.
What begins as a power struggle between the two women evolves into a surprising, hilarious, and powerful relationship that will transform both their lives completely.
